01. Green Star Edition

The rinse free version launched by Aikefa – Green Star version reduces waste liquid by 93% compared to traditional CTP process, and also reduces waste liquid by 96% compared to traditional film plate making. Since its launch for over two years, it has been used by over 1000 printers worldwide. This version does not require any chemical solution, only printing plate protective glue. The generated waste liquid does not contain any toxic substances and can be directly discharged.

02. CTP plate material without treatment

Non processing plate material refers to the plate material that can be printed on the machine without any subsequent processing steps after being exposed and imaged on a direct plate making device. From the perspective of plate making methods, treatment free plates can be divided into two categories: treatment free plates for DI (direct on machine imaging) printers and plates exposed and imaged on CTP Computer to plate. The CTP plate material without treatment improves production efficiency, eliminates the need for chemical development, reduces energy consumption during exposure, reduces overall plate making costs, and shortens the plate making process cycle. In today's increasingly emphasis on environmental protection, its advantage – no pollution to the environment, is more obvious.

 

Nowadays, flexographic printing mostly uses environmentally friendly inks such as water-based, alcohol soluble, and UV, so there is no residual solvent content, and trace amounts of alcohol will not affect human health. The unique structure and printing principle of flexographic printing undoubtedly meet the requirements of green and environmentally friendly packaging printing, making it an ideal and recognized green and environmentally friendly printing method at present.
